The Korea Childhood Cancer Foundation announced on the 8th that singer Lim Young-woong donated 2 million won from the July King of Good Stars competition prize money to emotional support projects for children with childhood cancer and leukemia and their families. Lim Young-woong, who recently released his first full-length album 'IM HERO,' reclaimed the King of Good Stars title last month after six months. The total accumulated donation amount is 37.6 million won. The funds are used for horticultural therapy and other support for mothers and families who spend long hours in hospitals caring for patients. Hong Seung-yoon, director of the Korea Childhood Cancer Foundation, said, "We are grateful to Lim Young-woong for bringing warmth to the patients," and added, "We hope he continues to be a singer who receives much interest and love." It carries out various projects such as supporting treatment and surgery costs for children with childhood cancer and leukemia, outpatient and emergency treatment support, emotional support, blood donation campaigns, and operating shelters for children with childhood cancer. Lim Young-woong has been holding his first solo concerts starting in May in Goyang, followed by Changwon, Gwangju, Daejeon, Incheon, Daegu, and Seoul.
