KT Collaborates with NIPA on ICT Venture Growth through DX Consulting and Talent Development

Joint Implementation of Education in the Digital Field

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT announced on the 8th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) to promote digital transformation (DX) related projects and the cultivation of DX and artificial intelligence (AI) talent.

The two organizations agreed to jointly promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), venture companies, and mid-sized companies in the new ICT business sector, as well as the cultivation of AI and DX talent in education and certification fields.

KT plans to support SMEs, venture companies, and mid-sized companies with ICT capabilities such as AI, big data, and cloud computing. Additionally, KT will provide practical assistance through joint product launches via the KT Cloud Incubation Program, listing on the KT Cloud Marketplace, and promotion through KT marketing channels.

KT and NIPA will also collaborate on special lectures by development experts for talent cultivation, free use of training facilities, and promotion of educational programs.

Lee Mi-hee, Head of KT C-Level Consulting Division, said, "New ICT businesses such as DX of major projects and non-face-to-face services are rapidly expanding," adding, "We will carry out various projects that can contribute to the development of Korea's industry."
