[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] Namseoul Nonghyup (Chairman Ahn Seung-yong) announced on the 6th that it visited mountain-area Nonghyups in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions to deliver farming materials and advance payments in order to practice urban-rural coexistence.

Namseoul Nonghyup visited Gachang Nonghyup and Habin Nonghyup in Daegu the previous day and delivered farming materials worth approximately 10 million KRW to each. Attendees included Baek Deok-gil, Chairman of Dongdaegu Nonghyup; Lee Yoon-young, Chairman of Seodaegu Nonghyup; Kim Dong-bae, Chairman of Seongseo Nonghyup; Jegal Yi-sul, Chairman of Gosan Nonghyup; Lee Sang-tae, Chairman of Dasa Nonghyup; Kwak Byung-dal, Chairman of Hyeonpung Nonghyup; and Park Byung-hee, Head of Nonghyup Daegu Regional Headquarters. Ahn Yong-seung, Chairman of Namseoul Nonghyup, stated, "To wisely overcome the externally difficult agricultural environment, metropolitan Nonghyups must take the lead in practicing urban-rural coexistence," adding, "We will strive to uphold the Nonghyup’s fundamental principles of 'cooperation' and 'coexistence'."
