[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Doo-yeol] The Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold the opening ceremony of the "5th Busan Regional Employment Expert Course" at 7 p.m. on the 3rd at the Busan Chamber of Commerce International Conference Hall and begin its operation.
The 5th Busan Regional Employment Expert Course was established to strengthen the expertise of local job project stakeholders. It is hosted by Busan City and the Busan Employment and Labor Office and organized by the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The tuition fee is fully funded by national and city budgets.
The total number of students for the 5th Busan Regional Employment Expert Course is 55, including stakeholders from public institutions, universities, and companies related to local jobs.
The first lecture, held along with the opening ceremony, will be a special lecture on "Locally Led Job Policies" by Professor Kim Jong-han of Kyungsung University, a senior member of the Busan Human Resources Development Committee, and lectures will continue every Wednesday for 15 weeks until November 9.
The main lecturers include 13 top domestic employment experts such as Dean Lee Sang-ho of Korea Polytechnics II and Director Kim Yoo-bin of the Korea Labor Institute.
The educational content includes ▲ job creation policies of the central government ▲ characteristics of the regional industrial labor market ▲ plans for regional industry-specialized talent accumulation ▲ the Fourth Industrial Revolution and future job prospects ▲ youth employment policies and major projects ▲ job creation related to tourism, MICE, and e-sports industries.
A representative of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry said, "Since this course is conducted by inviting top experts in the employment and job fields, we hope it will help improve the project planning and operational capabilities of local job project stakeholders."
