Bio So-Bu-Jang Embraces Digital Healthcare
Diverse Exhibits Covering All Fields
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] The 'BioPlus-Interphex Korea 2022 (BIX)', held over three days from the 3rd to the 5th at COEX in Seoul, opens with a diverse range of exhibitions.
This BIX exhibition is hosted by Reed Exhibitions Korea, a global exhibition specialist known for the 'INTERPHEX' brand, with 200 companies from 15 countries participating and operating 350 booths. This year, the number of visitors, including conference, exhibition, and partnering participants, is expected to exceed 7,000.
The exhibition, designed to cover the entire value chain of the bio and pharmaceutical industries, has been prepared to align with the theme of the World's Most Tangible Healthcare Convention.

In particular, the '2022 Special Pavilion' introduces contract manufacturing (CMO), contract development and manufacturing (CDMO), digital healthcare, cold chain logistics, and bio-materials, parts, and equipment, which are considered trends in the bio and pharmaceutical industries this year.
Additionally, the partnering event brings together over 400 organizations including pharmaceutical and bio companies seeking new pipelines, healthcare, universities, research institutes, ventures, startups, and VCs looking for investment. On-site meetings with invited overseas buyers provide opportunities to expand global networks. More than 200 participating companies, including Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Samsung Bioepis, Samsung Biologics, Celltrion, Hanmi Pharmaceutical, and GC Cell, can be met through partnering.
