At Four Major Expressway Rest Areas Nationwide
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) announced on the 2nd that it will provide free safety inspection services for tires and basic vehicle conditions in preparation for long-distance driving during the peak vacation season from the 4th to the 6th.
This highway safety inspection service will be conducted at four rest areas nationwide using a 'contactless drive-thru' method in consideration of the COVID-19 situation: Gapyeong Rest Area (Seoul-Yangyang Expressway, Chuncheon direction), Seosan Rest Area (Seohaean Expressway, Mokpo direction), Yeosan Rest Area (Honam Expressway, Suncheon direction), and Chilgok Rest Area (Gyeongbu Expressway, Busan direction).
Drivers visiting the event sites will receive free tire inspection services from a team of Hankook Tire professional technical engineers, checking tire pressure, wear condition, and damage. Each rest area event site also features spaces where visitors can directly experience tire products such as the ultra-high-performance tire ‘Ventus S1 evo Z AS,’ the premium comfort tire for sport utility vehicles (SUV) ‘Dynapro HPX,’ and the electric vehicle dedicated tire brand ‘iON.’
Additionally, wet wipes will be given to visitors, and customers participating in on-site surveys will receive dry bags and sports towels as summer vacation gifts on a first-come, first-served basis. Detailed information about the schedule and locations of the highway safety inspection service can be found on the Hankook Tire website.
