[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) received a donation of 45 million KRW from the Seoul Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Yoon Young-seok) on the 28th for the "Community Safety Line Protection Support Project."

The "Community Safety Line Protection Support Project" is a program initiated by the Seoul Community Chest of Korea since last year, distributing a total of 1 billion KRW differentially to 25 autonomous districts in Seoul to support low-income households in welfare blind spots.

The donated funds will be provided to low-income households within 120% of the median income, recommended by the local community centers, with support ranging from 200,000 to 1,000,000 KRW per household.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, "We are grateful to the Seoul Community Chest of Korea for raising the donation for vulnerable groups," and added, "We hope that this support will provide great help to those struggling with their livelihoods in the community."
