Regarding the controversy that key executives of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) were collectively absent on Friday afternoon, LH clarified on the 26th that "the main executives were attending board meetings and business trips, carrying out external schedules at the time."

On the same day, LH issued a press clarification stating, "The main executives of LH attended the board meeting on the 23rd and participated in the housing supply inspection meeting on the 24th," adding, "Reports claiming that they were collectively absent on Friday afternoon without any special events are not true."

According to LH, President Kim Hyun-jun and other key executives traveled from Jinju to Seoul on the afternoon of the 23rd to attend the regular June board meeting held at the LH Seoul Regional Headquarters at 1 p.m.

On the morning of the 24th, President Kim chaired the housing supply inspection meeting at the LH Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters, and in the afternoon, LH explained that he also conducted meetings with high-level officials visiting Korea regarding overseas business promotion.

Meanwhile, it was also revealed that some LH employees secretly played golf instead of attending a tour during a business trip to Jeju Island in June.

In this regard, LH stated, "An internal audit is currently underway regarding the golf-related misconduct during the business trip," and added, "We will take strict measures as soon as the investigation is completed, following a zero-tolerance policy."
