Introducing the Prestigious 'Steinway Piano' Recognized as a Luxury Brand

The EXCO Auditorium where the Daegu International Musical Instruments and Audio Equipment Expo will be held.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] The Daegu International Musical Instruments and Audio Equipment Expo will be held at EXCO from the 25th to the 27th of next month.

As Korea's first piano import hub and a UNESCO City of Music, this event aims to revitalize Daegu's musical instrument industry and will be held as a music festival-style expo that can be enjoyed not only by industry insiders but also by citizens.

This expo will feature 100 companies participating, including classical instruments, traditional Korean and Eastern instruments, electronic instruments, speakers and other audio equipment, record companies, music, and apps.

In particular, Steinway pianos will be showcased to captivate the eyes and ears of visitors.

Steinway pianos are renowned instruments preferred by world-class pianists and are used in 90% of concert halls worldwide, including New York's Carnegie Hall.

Additionally, Yamaha, the world's largest musical instrument manufacturer, has confirmed its participation, further enhancing the prestige of the exhibition.

The exhibition will also include forums and seminars for the development of the musical instrument and audio equipment industry, as well as various side events that citizens can enjoy and experience.

On the 25th and 26th, about 150 participants including global UNESCO Creative Cities officials and domestic experts will discuss the activation of networks and development directions for the music industry.

Following this, the "Korea Ensemble Competition of the Year," involving about 60 teams and 6,000 participants from elementary, middle, and high schools, will be held.

On the same day, an "Instrument and Audio Equipment Experience Center" will be set up where visitors can directly try out more than 50 instruments and audio devices such as saxophones, drums, speakers, and microphones.

The Daegu International Musical Instruments and Audio Equipment Expo can be viewed at the EXCO West Hall 5th floor Convention Hall and Auditorium, and pre-registration and free admission are available through the official website.
