[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Dooyul] Kang Kyung-moon, a player of the Dong-Eui University badminton team, became the strongest men's singles player in the university division at the "2022 Korea Badminton Association President's National Badminton Championships" held from the 14th to the 21st at the Useul Gymnasium in Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do.

In the semifinals of the men's singles university division, Kang Kyung-moon defeated Park Hyun-seung of Wonkwang University with a set score of 2-0 (21-11, 21-15) to advance to the finals.

In the final match, he faced Park Sang-yong of Hallym University and won the championship after a close match with a set score of 2-1 (21-19, 20-22, 21-14).

Kang Kyung-moon, who is in his final year, is scheduled to join Suwon City Hall after graduation. The tournament featured a total of 53 teams and about 390 players from universities and corporate teams nationwide, including national representatives.
