On the 25th, ABO Entertainment announced, "'Crime City 3' (director Lee Sang-yong) has cast actors Ma Dong-seok, Lee Joon-hyuk, Aoki Munetaka, Lee Beom-soo, Kim Min-jae, Jeon Seok-ho, and Go Gyu-pil, and has started filming."
Following 'Crime City' (2017), which ranked in the top 3 for R-rated movie box office hits, and 'Crime City 2' (2022), which was released last May and sparked a box office phenomenon with 12.6 million viewers, this is the third sequel. This time, it depicts the crime eradication operation led by the monster detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok), who has moved to the Metropolitan Investigation Unit, working with a new team. Lee Joon-hyuk continues the villain lineage following Yoon Kye-sang and Son Seok-gu.
