[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Santa, a startup operating the online and offline education OS platform 'DidiCast,' announced on the 24th that its cumulative sales in the first half of the year grew by 178.3% compared to the same period last year.
Santa analyzed, "In the post-COVID era, as more companies and educational institutions seek to conduct integrated online and offline education, our integrated education platform strategy targeting this demand has greatly contributed to our growth." The number of contracts for DidiCast with companies and educational institutions increased by 143% compared to the same period last year.
Im Seok-young, Vice President in charge of Santa's services, stated, "The number of courses opened increased by 183% compared to last year, and the cumulative number of classes surpassed 32,000. Considering the demand from educational institutions currently signing contracts for the second half of the year, we expect the best performance this year."
The Korea Standards Association is providing education for business normalization to over 800 small business owners who had closed or suspended operations due to COVID-19, using the DidiCast platform across four regions: Seoul, Gyeonggi, Daejeon, and Busan. Additionally, skill-up training for new employees and organizational management and operations education for executives are being conducted for over 60 startups.
Furthermore, nationwide organizations such as Korea Amway, Ace Bed, DB CNS, Gyeongnam Office of Education, and Korea Victim Support Association are conducting job and customer service (CS) training for sales and service staff through DidiCast.
Park Ki-woong, CEO of Santa, said, "To grow into a true online-offline education OS platform, we are preparing a new edutech OS platform brand called DidiSsam," adding, "We are preparing to provide optimal services with a goal to open in early September."
