The session will be hosted by LH Korea Land and Housing Corporation on the 28th at 2 PM at the Heunghae Comprehensive Cultural Welfare Center.
The public rental housing to be built in the Hakseong-ri area of Heunghae-eup will have a total of 300 units, with LH Korea Land and Housing Corporation constructing 200 units first and planning to build an additional 100 units later based on demand.
Currently, LH Korea Land and Housing Corporation applied for housing construction project approval from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in March this year and has commissioned a strategic environmental impact assessment necessary for project approval. The draft of the strategic environmental impact assessment, which includes plans for environmental pollution prevention due to site development and measures for surrounding impacts, has been announced. Resident viewing is ongoing until the 9th of next month at the City Hall Safety and Urban Projects Division and the Heunghae Special Urban Regeneration Support Center.
This strategic environmental impact assessment resident briefing session will be conducted with the attendance of representatives from Daol ENC, the firm responsible for the assessment, and LH officials in charge of the public rental housing construction project and compensation.
A representative from LH Korea Land and Housing Corporation stated, “This strategic environmental impact assessment resident briefing session will include explanations of the draft plan for the environmental impact assessment of the development site, progress updates, compensation plans, and a Q&A session to address residents’ concerns. We encourage many local residents interested in the project to attend.”
