Cosmax Obtains Patent for Oil-Dispersed Stick-Type Cosmetic Composition Containing Plant-Based Butter

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Cosmax announced on the 22nd that it has acquired a patent right related to an oil-dispersed stick-type cosmetic composition containing plant-based butter.

The company stated, "The composition according to the present invention is a proper mixture of plant-based butter, hydrocarbon oils and waxes, plant-based oils and waxes, and ester oils," adding, "This composition maintains a stable solid form despite containing temperature-sensitive plant-based butter, and there is no issue of the plant-based butter melting and precipitating during the cosmetic manufacturing process."

They continued, "Containing plant-based butter, it has no stickiness compared to conventional stick cosmetics and offers excellent application feel," and added, "It is planned to be used in products to be produced in the future."
