On the 21st, Cosmo Advanced Materials announced that its sales for the second quarter reached 119.3 billion KRW, with an operating profit of 10.8 billion KRW. The operating profit increased by 87.7% compared to the same period last year, marking the highest quarterly performance.

Cosmo Advanced Materials is continuously investing in NCM secondary battery cathode active materials and establishing new NCM precursor facilities. For MLCC release films, additional expansions are being carried out this year following last year to meet increasing demand, raising expectations for future performance.

A representative from Cosmo Advanced Materials stated, "Operating profit continues to expand following the first quarter, and sustained growth is expected going forward. With large-scale expansions of NCM secondary battery cathode active materials, additional expansions of MLCC release films, and new precursor facilities, the core business sectors are continuously growing, and steep growth is anticipated over the next 4 to 5 years."
