Hampyeong-gun Makes All-Out Efforts to Open Sales Channels for Agricultural and Specialty Products in Sister Cities of the Seoul Metropolitan Area

Special Event for Direct Delivery of Agricultural and Specialty Products from Production Areas in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon

According to the county on the 21st, a special event was held the day before for employees of Bupyeong-gu Office in Incheon, a sister city, delivering excellent local agricultural and specialty products directly from the production site.

The county carried out promotional activities by directly delivering mini chestnut pumpkins and freshwater eels, outstanding local agricultural and specialty products, to Bupyeong-gu Office employees who had pre-ordered.

In addition, an event was organized to help local farmers struggling with the rice price collapse caused by the recent rise in international grain prices.

The county also promoted the "Hampyeong Rice Sales Promotion Campaign" by holding an event presenting Hampyeong Nabi Rice (500g), selected as one of Jeonnam's top 10 brand rices, to Bupyeong-gu Office employees.

A county official said, "We thank the Bupyeong-gu Office employees who actively participated in the event," and added, "We will continue close cooperation with Bupyeong-gu, our sister city, to promote mutual growth between urban and rural areas."
