Sancheong-gun, Recruiting Participants for the 3rd Round of 'Sancheong-style One-Month Living' Experience

Experience a Month Living in Sancheong at the Pristine Nature of Jirisan Foothills!

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, the hometown of Jirisan and Gyeonghogang, is recruiting participants to experience the ‘Sancheong-style One Month Living’ in harmony with nature.

The county is recruiting the third group of participants this year for the long-term stay travel project ‘Sancheong-e Sal-eoriratta,’ part of the ‘One Month Travel in Gyeongnam’ program, until the budget is exhausted.

‘Sancheong-e Sal-eoriratta’ is a project for modern people who want to escape the busy daily life of the city to stay long-term in Sancheong, the hometown of Jirisan Cheonwangbong, experiencing the charm of pure nature and ordinary daily life.

Anyone aged 19 or older residing outside the Gyeongnam area can apply. The plan is to select 25 teams (1-2 people per team) who can actively promote Sancheong’s tourist resources through their public SNS accounts.

Participant selection will be conducted by evaluating travel motivation, plans, and promotional effectiveness.

Participants will plan and carry out their own trips from July to November and promote Sancheong.

The county supports accommodation fees (up to 50,000 KRW per day per team) and entrance and experience fees (total 50,000 to 80,000 KRW per person) for periods ranging from a minimum of 2 nights to a maximum of 29 nights. Detailed information can be found on the Sancheong-gun website.

Sancheong has long been known as a center of oriental medicine and anti-aging based on over 1,000 species of medicinal herbs native to Jirisan.

Sancheong-gun, embracing Jirisan Cheonwangbong, offers visitors rest during summer with Jirisan and its clear valleys and ecological trails. In autumn, visitors can enjoy the beautiful autumn foliage and the silver grass of Sancheong’s Hwangmaesan, fully savoring the autumn atmosphere.
