[2022 Busan Motor Show] BMW Unveils 7 Series Electric Vehicle in Korea for the First Time

At the press preview event of the Busan International Motor Show on the 14th, the new BMW 7 Series electric vehicle model i7 was exhibited.

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] BMW Korea unveiled the new 7 Series electric vehicle model i7, which will be released domestically at the end of the year, at the press preview event of the Busan International Motor Show on the 14th.

The new 2 Series Active Tourer, a small multipurpose vehicle (MPV), was also introduced domestically for the first time on the same day. Along with Mini and Motorrad, a total of 21 models are exhibited during the event. High-performance electric vehicles such as the iX M60 and i4 M50 were also showcased in one section of the exhibition hall.

Internal combustion high-performance models including the new M850i xDrive Gran Coupe, M240i xDrive Coupe, M4 Competition Convertible M xDrive, and New X3 M Competition were displayed. The high-performance plug-in hybrid new XM was presented in a closed-room format.

BMW New 2 Series Active Tourer

Mini brought a limited edition model to commemorate the 60th anniversary of its high-performance brand JCW. Only 740 units will be sold worldwide, with sales starting next Tuesday on the BMW online shop. The Mini Electric Facesetter, which offers a glimpse into the brand’s electrification direction, was unveiled for the first time at this event. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the high-performance brand M, BMW Motorrad revealed the M1000 RR 50th anniversary model for the first time in Asia. Electric motorcycles were also exhibited.
