Strengthening the Competitiveness of Social Economy Enterprises and Horizontal Collaboration Between Industry and Academia

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Daegu University LINC 3.0 Project Group held the "2nd National Social Economy University Conference" on the 8th at the Gyeongju Hilton Hotel.
This conference was organized to strengthen the competitiveness of social economy enterprises and horizontal cooperation between industry and academia through social economy universities nationwide.
Including Daegu University, the president university this year, 16 social economy universities nationwide agreed to actively cooperate for job creation and balanced regional development in their local communities.
On this day, a special lecture titled "The Role of Social Economy Universities" was held on Korea's social economy and Korean cooperatives.
Following this, there was a session presenting excellent cases such as the "Air Control System Cooperative" and the "Global Food Culture Cooperative" by presenters from five universities by region.
This year, Jang Jung-hyuk, head of Daegu University LINC 3.0 Project Group, was inaugurated as the new president of the Social Economy University Council, and the inauguration and retirement ceremony of the president university of the Social Economy University Council and the Social Economy Industry-Academia Cooperation Society was held.
Project Group Head Jang Jung-hyuk said, "We will strive to advance the industry-academia cooperation model and create a sustainable industry-academia cooperation ecosystem based on sharing and collaboration."
