As Food and Technology combine to form FoodTech, various customer services utilizing AI and big data are being commercialized in the dining industry.
In line with this trend, FarmKit Co., Ltd. has launched the ‘MisikQ’ app, an application that analyzes individual food preferences through AI recommendation algorithms and provides delicious and healthy menu and meal planning services containing the necessary nutrients for each person.
Yang Seonheung, CEO of FarmKit Co., Ltd., said, “For office workers, ‘What should I eat today?’ is a daily concern for everyone, and choosing options that suit health management as well as various menus is a part where time is easily lost. Therefore, by utilizing AI technology, we developed the ‘MisikQ’ service that analyzes individual food preferences and recommends customized menus and delicious, healthy meals containing the nutrients needed for health.”
Currently, MisikQ offers restaurant menus, delivery menus, ready meal recommendations, and a ‘Group Menu Recommendation’ feature for multiple people to eat together. “By the end of this year, we plan to add more diverse menus including healthy meals and popular franchise menus. Additionally, we are accelerating technology development to enable choices reflecting various people’s preferences by adding a health meal management (Meal Planning) function combined with nutrient information.”
Through AI recommendation algorithms, it provides not only personalized food preferences but also healthy menu recommendations containing necessary nutrients. ‘MisikQ’ is available for free download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The developer, FarmKit Co., Ltd., was selected as the 11th class of the Youth Startup Academy by the Small and Medium Business Corporation last year and attracted seed investment. In 2022, it was selected for a global corporate collaboration program in partnership with Microsoft. Founded by a CEO with experience at Korea Oracle, Samsung Group, and Hyundai Motor Company, and a CTO with a doctorate in engineering, FarmKit is striving to become a game changer in the FoodTech field through innovative technological advancements.
