[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Juhee] Regarding the inclusion of phrases such as 'Kim Geonhee caused trouble again' in the thumbnail (preview image) of a video uploaded on MBC Radio's current affairs YouTube channel, Lee Jong-bae, a Seoul city council member from the People Power Party, filed a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission of Korea (NHRCK) and submitted a review request to the Korea Communications Standards Commission.

On the 11th, the council member held a press conference in front of the NHRCK and stated, "MBC inserted distorted and fabricated false phrases on its YouTube channel. This has damaged Mrs. Kim's honor and infringed upon her personal rights," demanding disciplinary action against those involved and recommending human rights education.

On the 6th, MBC Radio's current affairs YouTube channel uploaded a video addressing the controversy over the attendance of Lee Won-mo, personnel secretary to the presidential office, and his wife at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit schedule with President Yoon Suk-yeol and his spouse.

The issue was with the phrases written on the video thumbnail. The thumbnail contained phrases such as 'Kim Geonhee caused trouble again,' 'Is this the president's level?' and 'Secret controversy: Should Kim Geonhee be punished for national treasury losses?,' which were intended to defame President Yoon and Mrs. Kim.

Regarding the secret controversy, the presidential office at the time explained that the secretary's wife accompanied the NATO summit as an 'other attendant' and was responsible for tasks such as local event planning and preliminary inspections.

Meanwhile, as of 3:30 p.m. on the 11th, the thumbnail has been replaced. However, the phrase 'Is this the president's level?!' still remains in the video title.
