Millie's Library Unveils Kim Cho-yeop's New Work 'Subudani's Summer Vacation'

Subudani's Summer Vacation explores the desires of Subudani, who transformed from an android (a robot in human form) into a human and then wishes to become a machine again. It reflects on the longing to become another being and the yearning to be one's true self. The story is characterized by a compelling narrative, delicate perspectives on others, and profound contemplation.

Author Kim Choyeop debuted by simultaneously winning the grand prize and honorable mention in the 2nd Korea Science Fiction Literature Awards for short stories. From her first collection, If We Cannot Travel at the Speed of Light, to The Greenhouse at the End of the Earth, she has achieved record-breaking sales. The Greenhouse at the End of the Earth was pre-released on Millie's Library and currently boasts a high completion rate of 79%. She has consecutively received the Today's Writer Award, Young Writer Award, and Korea Publishing Culture Award.

To celebrate the new release, Millie's Library will hold an event. From the 25th for one week, the platform will host an online reading club titled "July Reading Life with Kim Choyeop." Next month, when the print book is published, a book talk and signing event will be held.
