Changwon Coast Guard rescues two men fallen into the sea... transported to hospital unconscious

Gyeongnam Changwon Maritime Police are rescuing two men who fell into the sea in front of the waterfront park in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon City.

[Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Changwon Maritime Police Station in Gyeongnam rescued two men who had fallen into the water off the waterfront park in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon City, at around 1:14 PM on the 8th.

According to the maritime police, a report was received at around 1:14 PM that someone had fallen near the breakwater lighthouse in front of the waterfront park.

The maritime police dispatched patrol vessels, the Masan Police Substation coastal rescue boat, and rescue teams to the accident site, and also arranged for a civilian marine rescue boat to assist in the rescue.

Upon arrival at the scene, a search underwater was conducted together with the Masan Fire Station, resulting in the recovery of two men in their 40s and 50s.

Both men were rescued unconscious and were transported to a nearby hospital.

The Changwon Maritime Police plan to investigate the exact cause of the accident based on the statements of the informants.
