NBAC Co., Ltd. announced on the 6th that it won the grand prize in the household waste management category of the environmental industry at the '2022 Korea Environmental Awards.'
Since introducing the automated household waste collection system for the first time in Korea, NBAC Co., Ltd. has expanded its distribution to new towns and redevelopment/reconstruction apartment complexes and has contributed to the promotion of the environmental industry by actively exporting overseas.
It was also honored with the Korea Environmental Award in recognition of its contribution to dramatically improving residents' living environments and convenience, as well as enhancing the efficiency of public sector cleaning administration.
A representative of NBAC Co., Ltd. stated, “To respond to the global climate crisis, as an environmental technology company, we will devote ourselves to developing and commercializing new technologies for environmental improvement, such as resource-circulating automated collection facilities and AI-based optimal operation systems.”
They also added, “Environmental new technologies should be actively reflected in smart cities and the third phase of new towns so that Korea can build world-class eco-friendly infrastructure.”
Meanwhile, the 'Korea Environmental Awards' were established to encourage the realization and activities of a sustainable eco-friendly society. The awards are sponsored by four government ministries, including the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Education, and are organized by the Korea Environmental Awards Committee.
