Focusing on Resolving Everyday Inconveniences and Discovering Future Food Industry Opportunities

On the 7th, Choi Ki-moon, Mayor of Yeongcheon, along with more than 20 attendees including heads of departments responsible for campaign projects, held the "8th Term Elected Mayor Campaign Project Report Meeting."

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Yeongcheon City, Gyeongbuk Province, held the '8th Term Elected Mayor's Pledge Project Report Meeting' on the 7th, attended by Mayor Choi Ki-moon and about 20 department heads in charge of pledge projects.

The report meeting was organized to review opinions and report on the promotion plans for 30 pledge projects in four major focus areas of the 8th term elected mayor, listen to opinions, and establish a solid execution plan from the initial stage to reduce trial and error.

The 30 projects were selected focusing on essential projects for regional development, including solving inconveniences in citizens' daily lives and discovering future food source projects, divided into four major focus areas: ▲Industry and Economy 10 projects ▲Culture and Tourism 3 projects ▲Welfare and Education 11 projects ▲Agriculture 6 projects.

To implement these pledges, a citizen evaluation group for pledge implementation will be formed in August to collect diverse opinions from citizens, and the pledge projects will be finalized in September.

Additionally, a self-inspection and evaluation of pledge implementation will be conducted at least once a year to continuously evaluate and manage the pledge matters annually.

Mayor Choi Ki-moon of Yeongcheon said, "Since pledges are precious promises with citizens, I hope a solid execution plan is established from the initial planning stage," and added, "I hope everyone does their best to complete pledge projects that all citizens can empathize with and be satisfied with."
