[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Gmarket Global, which operates Gmarket, Auction, and G9, announced on the 6th that it has changed its company name to 'Gmarket.'

Gmarket stated, "The decision was made to unify the company name with the brand (Gmarket) to increase brand awareness and ensure consistency."

Gmarket also changed its company structure from a limited liability company to a corporation.
