Binggrae Publishes '2022 Sustainability Management Report'

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Binggrae announced on the 6th that it has published the '2022 Sustainability Management Report.'

Through the sustainability management report, Binggrae communicates the integrated performance and goals of economic, social, and environmental values with its stakeholders. Binggrae's sustainability management report not only covers ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategies but also reports on strategies and activities aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, reflecting Binggrae's commitment and efforts to grow together with society as a sustainable company. The report's credibility was secured through third-party verification by the Korea Management Registrar (KMR).

Recognizing the importance of sustainability management, Binggrae has established and operates a vision of 'sustainability management naturally practiced daily by all employees,' based on goals such as leading the preservation of the global environment for future generations, creating social impact through sharing and giving, and realizing transparent governance at a global level.

Since 2018, Binggrae has strengthened its sustainability management system by reorganizing existing capabilities and systems and establishing mid- to long-term sustainability management strategies. Each year, it selects various ESG issues such as governance, eco-friendliness, ethical management, mutual growth, and quality management, deriving improvement tasks and addressing them. Recognizing these efforts, Binggrae received an integrated A grade for three consecutive years in the ESG evaluation conducted by the Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS) in 2021.
