Since the launch of the new government, a cautious stance has deepened in the real estate market, drawing attention to stable ‘large-scale apartment complexes.’
In fact, as buyers have become more prudent in using their subscription savings accounts, the preference for large-scale complexes has increased noticeably in this year’s subscription market. ‘Pohang Xi Atherton,’ supplied in January in Pohang City, Gyeongbuk Province, is a large-scale complex with a total of 1,433 households, attracting attention. In the first-priority subscription, 28,572 subscription accounts were submitted for 960 households (excluding special supply), recording an average competition rate of 29.76 to 1 and a highest rate of 213.86 to 1.
The larger the scale of the complex, the more likely it is that a construction company with abundant construction experience participates in the project, resulting in higher trust. Large-scale apartment complexes supplied in this way have the characteristic of having a large price increase during real estate booms, making them highly liquid, and relatively small price declines during downturns, making them stable.
For this reason, large-scale complexes often emerge as leading apartments that set the local market price. An industry insider said, “Large-scale apartment complexes attract a large population immediately upon move-in, which leads to well-established surrounding infrastructure, and relatively low maintenance fees, making them highly popular among actual buyers.” He added, “Especially as the cautious stance continues and more people are looking for a ‘smart single property,’ the popularity of large-scale apartment complexes that possess both stability and future value is expected to continue.”
Meanwhile, Jeil Construction’s ‘Jeil Punggyeongchae Wonju Musil,’ scheduled for sale in July, is attracting attention as a large-scale complex. The complex is located in Musil-dong, Wonju City, Gangwon Province, and will be developed with 7 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 32 floors above ground, with units sized 93 to 135㎡, totaling 997 households.
Jeil Punggyeongchae Wonju Musil not only has a large-scale complex size close to 1,000 households but is also composed of medium-to-large types with high rarity and preference, supplied under Jeil Construction’s premium residential brand ‘Jeil Punggyeongchae,’ offering a well-rounded residential value that buyers desire.
As a large-scale apartment complex, Jeil Punggyeongchae Wonju Musil also boasts an excellent location. Musil-dong, where the complex is located, is known as the ‘Gangnam of Wonju’ due to its well-rounded living infrastructure including transportation, education, and convenience facilities. Residents are expected to enjoy an excellent living environment immediately upon moving in.
Meanwhile, Jeil Punggyeongchae Wonju Musil is preparing a model house.
