Strategic Business Partnership Signed with Medizen Human Care for Equity Investment and Comprehensive Health Management Platform Development

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Daesang Life Science announced on the 5th that it has signed a strategic business partnership with Medizen Humancare, a company specializing in personalized disease prediction genomic analysis, to build a comprehensive health management platform.

Daesang Life Science plans to develop a high value-added total health business by establishing a comprehensive health management platform through an equity investment-based business partnership with Medizen Humancare.

Through this business partnership, Daesang Life Science will combine Medizen Humancare’s unique domestic disease prediction gene network analysis technology with its own leading domestic capabilities in patient foods and health functional foods to build a DTC health management platform. Based on this DTC health management platform, it will diagnose consumers’ diseases and health conditions through genetic traits and environmental factors, providing personalized content and services optimized for individuals, such as genome analysis-based customized patient meals and health functional foods.

Medizen Humancare plans to build an AI-based customized healthcare metaverse by newly integrating the accumulated Korean and East Asian big data together with Daesang Life Science. Through this, it will offer health functional foods, meal kits, maternity foods, infant foods, diet menus, and senior wellness products tailored to individual consumers, and support regular monitoring and consultation services via an app.
