[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the afternoon of the 4th, Pukyong National University and Kosin University Gospel Hospital signed a mutual cooperation agreement at the president's office on the 3rd floor of the Pukyong National University headquarters.
Through this agreement, the two institutions agreed to cooperate to lead innovative growth in the regional smart healthcare sector.
According to the agreement, the two institutions will expand and strengthen cooperation in ▲ technology development and research collaboration in the smart healthcare field ▲ discovery and operation of joint smart healthcare workforce training programs ▲ joint planning and operation of community contribution programs.
Building on their ongoing cooperation achievements, the two institutions plan to actively apply their specialized capabilities in AI, IT, software, and bio fields to lead the development of the regional smart healthcare sector through this agreement.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, Pukyong National University and Kosin University jointly operated a smart medical system for patients at the residential treatment center, collaborated on the joint development of pharmaceuticals using marine biological extract natural substances, and actively cooperated in education, research, and industry-academia cooperation fields such as student exchanges between Pukyong National University's Department of Biomedical Engineering and Kosin University's College of Medicine.
