When playing a round abroad, it is convenient to use rental clubs.

Golfers are heading abroad for golf trips as the summer vacation season kicks off.

The key to a successful golf trip is to minimize luggage. Traveling with golf clubs is a bit annoying for golfers. You have to load and unload them in the car trunk, and they are handled separately during airport check-in. When you arrive at your destination, you pick up your golf bag at a designated baggage counter. Additionally, because they are heavy and bulky, they can incur extra airline fees.

For domestic flights in the U.S., golf bags are always charged an additional $50.00. If you plan to play 2 to 3 rounds, it is convenient to use rental clubs at the local golf course abroad. Many foreign golfers are accustomed to renting clubs when traveling overseas and not playing on their home course.

When you want to rent clubs, you can say "I want to rent the equipment (golf clubs)" or "I’d like to rent the equipment." During peak season, reserving rental clubs is essential because golf courses operate on a first-come, first-served basis for rentals.

A (Golf course staff): Are you a traveling golfer? Need to rent golf clubs?

B (Traveler): Yes, I am. I’d like to rent a full set of golf clubs.

A: For each of you?

B: Of course.

A: Here is the rental club. Let me check your clubs first. You have one driver, a 3-wood, a 5-wood, nine irons, and a putter. You have a total of 14 clubs.

B: That’s right.
