Funding from Employee Donations... 6 Sessions Scheduled This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Hi-Mart announced on the 4th that it is collecting stories for ‘Mom Comfortable Hydream’ until the 31st of this month to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
Mom Comfortable Hydream is a Lotte Hi-Mart social contribution activity that receives stories on various themes and gifts necessary home appliances. It is scheduled to be held six times this year, and this is the fourth time. So far, 21 projects have been carried out, supporting 59 households with home appliances worth 200 million KRW. The funds were voluntarily donated by Lotte Hi-Mart employees.
This time, stories of working moms striving to balance work and family are being collected. Home appliances that help with housework, such as washing machines, clothes dryers, dishwashers, mop cleaners, and cordless vacuum cleaners, will be provided. Stories can be submitted through the Lotte Relay Project in the participation section of the Lotte CSV website. After screening, three households will be selected and announced in August.
A Lotte Hi-Mart official said, “We prepared this sharing project with the hope of helping all working moms who lead both work and family even a little,” and added, “We will continue practical social contribution activities to practice ESG management in the future.”
