11st will hold a special exhibition from the 4th to the 31st to support social economy enterprises in developing sales channels and growing their businesses.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] 11st announced on the 3rd that it will hold a special exhibition from the 4th to the 31st in collaboration with the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency to help social economy enterprises develop sales channels and grow their businesses.
This exhibition introduces products from a total of 91 companies that realize social values, including social enterprises, preliminary social enterprises, social ventures, cooperatives, and village enterprises. Approximately 260 useful everyday items such as various agricultural, marine, and livestock products, meal kits, beverages, household goods, and pet supplies have been prepared.
Representative products include Hwangridan-gil Chalbori Bread from Gyeongju Bakery, which donates a portion of its profits to the local community, and RTG Omega-3 from Vitamin Angels, which provides free vitamins to vulnerable groups such as children at risk of hunger, single mothers, and elderly living alone.
11st will provide customers participating in the exhibition with ten 30% discount coupons that can be used when purchasing exhibition products.
An official from 11st said, “We hope this will help various social economy enterprises become known and realize social values needed throughout our society,” adding, “It will be an opportunity for consumers who are interested in value consumption such as eco-friendliness and upcycling to practice good shopping.”
