[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] SSG.com announced on the 3rd that it will establish a luxury specialty store (SSG Luxury) and focus on developing the luxury category.

The SSG.com luxury specialty store positions itself as a 'luxury content platform' that provides the latest domestic and international luxury trend information, and introduces various new services reflecting the characteristics of luxury goods.

For the first time in the industry, it operates a dedicated luxury consultation center. When customers who have purchased products from the SSG.com luxury store within the last month contact the customer center, they are automatically connected to the dedicated luxury consultation center, where they can quickly and easily receive guidance on inquiries from luxury specialist consultants.

A 'Daily First-Come-First-Served Time Deal' page has also been established, selling specific luxury brand products at special prices to a limited number of customers. The daily time deals automatically close when the prepared quantity is sold out.

A premium delivery page, which gathers only high-priced luxury items requiring premium delivery such as watches, jewelry, and luxury bags, has also been newly opened. To this end, SSG.com recently signed a business partnership with 'Valex,' a special logistics company specializing in handling high-value items such as cash, and has launched premium delivery services in earnest. When purchasing premium delivery products, a uniformed special delivery professional visits the customer's location and directly hands the product to the customer.

The luxury digital certificate 'SSG Guarantee' specialty store will be moved inside the luxury specialty store. About 80,000 products eligible for certificate issuance are gathered in one place for convenient browsing, and the issuance scope has been expanded to include watches and jewelry as well as clothing and accessories. If an SSG Guarantee product is judged to be counterfeit, 200% compensation will be provided.

Due to the rapid growth of the luxury resale market, a separate page related to used luxury goods has also been created. It mainly consists of high-end vintage products such as Hermes and Louis Vuitton, whose rarity value increases over time, and multiple detailed photos of product parts are attached so that customers can accurately assess the condition of used products.

Meanwhile, to commemorate the opening of the luxury specialty store, SSG.com has prepared various events from the 4th to the 10th. During the event period, a lucky draw event will be held for customers who purchase products from the luxury specialty store (excluding some products).
