Kubokyu Hwasun County Governor: "We Will Make It a Cultural Tourism City Where People Want to Stay"

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Gu Bok-gyu, the 48th governor of Hwasun County, held an inauguration ceremony in front of the county office on the 1st and officially began his duties.

About 300 people, including former governors, heads of institutions and social organizations, and residents, attended the inauguration ceremony.

In his inaugural speech, Governor Gu presented the goal of "Renewing Hwasun, Making Residents Happy" and revealed eight aspirations for the future of Hwasun.

To create a new Hwasun where residents are happy, he proposed ▲building a vibrant Hwasun through fairness and innovation ▲implementing field-centered, customized trustworthy administration ▲realizing the top tourism destination in the southern region by establishing cultural tourism city infrastructure ▲building a wealthy farming village that earns high income ▲revitalizing the local economy by fostering new growth future industries ▲significantly expanding SOC for a pleasant living environment ▲creating an educational city that gives dreams and hope ▲realizing a welfare Hwasun where residents are happy and warm.

Governor Gu said, "The future of Hwasun lies in the cultural tourism sector," and added, "I will utilize my experience and know-how in cultural tourism to make Hwasun a cultural tourism city where people want to stay."

To this end, he proposed specific plans such as making the Dolmen Park, a World Cultural Heritage site, a four-season tourist destination, creating the Hwasuncheon Ecological Cultural Park, establishing the Hwasun Cultural Tourism Foundation, and developing an experiential complex tourism complex at the Hwasun coal mine.

Governor Gu said, "I hope all residents will join forces to participate in the new changes in Hwasun," and added, "I will communicate with residents from all walks of life to improve shortcomings and reflect good ideas, changing Hwasun with the power of residents and opening an era of Hwasun residents who create the future with their dreams."

After the inauguration ceremony, Governor Gu began his official duties by planting a commemorative tree in the flower bed in front of Hwasun County Office and listening to cultural arts and current issues.
