National team reserve player Lee Hyosong (14, Masanjeil Girls' Middle School, photo) won the 46th Kang Mingu Cup Korea Women's Amateur Golf Championship.
In the 4th round of the tournament held on the 1st at Daejeon Yuseong Golf Course (par 72, 6040m), she scored 5 under par to tie with Lim Jiyu (17, Suseong Broadcasting and Communication High School) at 15 under par 273 strokes, then secured the victory with a winning birdie on the second hole of the playoff. Established in 1976, the tournament has produced players such as Jeong Ilmi (50), Han Heewon (44), Jang Jeong (42), Lee Mina (41), Ji Eunhee (36), Shin Jiae (34), Kim Seyoung (29), Kim Hyoju, Ko Jinyoung (both 27), Choi Hyejin (23), and Yoo Haeran (21). Since 2000, the tournament has been held at Yuseong Golf Course.
