Park Sang-jin Appointed as the 45th Chief of Suncheon Fire Station

[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Jeonnam Suncheon Fire Station announced that Park Sang-jin, former Fire Chief of Goheung Fire Station, was inaugurated as the 45th Fire Chief on the 1st.

On his first day in office, Chief Park Sang-jin visited flood and wind damage vulnerable areas in preparation for the rainy season and safety blind spots such as traditional markets, which are fire-prone targets.

Chief Park first entered public service in 1993 and has held key positions throughout the province, including Suncheon Fire Station Field Response Team Leader, Goheung Fire Station Protection and Rescue Division Chief, Fire Headquarters Situation Management Team Leader, Fire Headquarters Fire Audit Officer, and Goheung Fire Chief.

He is a commander with extensive experience and driving force, having handled various field and administrative tasks, including rescuing 66 lives at the large fire scene of Yunho 21 Hospital in Goheung in 2020. He is highly regarded by staff for prioritizing the safety of local residents and valuing harmony and communication with employees.

Chief Park Sang-jin expressed, “I will do my best to carry out fire administration to become a more trusted fire organization for the residents of Suncheon City and Gurye County.”
