Yeonggwang-gun 'Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card Support Project' Additional Recruitment

[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 1st that it will accept additional applications throughout this month for the second half of the year for the ‘Jeonnam Youth Culture Welfare Card Support Project,’ which supports cultural and leisure activities for youth.

The eligible applicants are youths aged 21 to 28 (born between 1994 and 2001) who have continuously resided in Jeonnam since July 1, 2020. Each individual will receive an annual support of 200,000 KRW via a check card.

The card can only be used within Jeonnam province for activities such as attending performances, using sports facilities, lodging, and theme parks.

Applications can be submitted online through the Nonghyup Card website. If online application is difficult, applicants can visit their local eup/myeon office to apply in person.

After verifying eligibility next month, selected applicants will be able to use the card starting from September. The usage period lasts until the end of December, and unused funds cannot be carried over.

However, public institution employees receiving welfare points (cards) (including government officials, teachers, security guards, public workers, employees of public corporations and affiliated institutions), out-of-school youth education allowance recipients, and female farmer voucher recipients are excluded.

For Cultural Nuri Card recipients, the difference of 100,000 KRW excluding the Cultural Nuri benefit will be provided.
