Dongyang Life Launches '(Non) Guardian Angel Shanghai Insurance I Create' with 19 Optional Riders

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Dongyang Life announced on the 1st that it has launched the ‘Non-dividend Guardian Angel Accident Insurance I Create’ which guarantees risks related to accidents such as automobile accident injury treatment.

This product guarantees accidental death through the main contract. Through 19 newly developed riders including Automobile Accident Injury Treatment Rider T, Traffic Accident Fracture (including tooth fracture) Coverage Rider T, Traffic Accident Surgery Rider T, and Accident Hospitalization Rider T from the first day, it provides broad coverage for risks that can occur in daily life such as automobile accident injury treatment, traffic accident fractures, surgeries, hospitalizations, specific burn diagnoses, and cast treatment.

It is available for subscription from age 15 up to a maximum of 70 years old, with options for 10, 20, 30 years or maturity at ages 80 or 100.

The Automobile Accident Injury Treatment Rider T can be selected from coverage types for grades 1 to 14, grades 1 to 7, or grades 1 to 3. If an injury grade is assigned according to the Automobile Accident Injury Grade Table caused by an automobile accident, insurance benefits are paid differentially according to the grade from grade 1 (8 million KRW) to grade 14 (100,000 KRW). (Based on one unit of the 1-14 grade coverage type)

In addition, it covers 20 million KRW for public transportation accident death, 10 million KRW for traffic accident death, 1 million KRW for accident surgery (per surgery), 100,000 KRW for accident fracture treatment (including tooth fracture, per occurrence), 100,000 KRW for cast treatment (per treatment), and 100,000 KRW for severe traffic accident treatment (per occurrence). A Dongyang Life official said, “We newly developed the main contract and 19 riders to provide broad coverage against various accident-related risks that can occur in automobile accidents or daily life,” and added, “The advantage is that customers can select and subscribe to the coverage they need according to their financial situation.”
