In the Era of High Oil Prices... Samsung Card Launches 'Samsung iD AUTO Card'

Up to 90 KRW per liter fuel discount at all gas stations
10% discount on parking, Hi-Pass, and designated driver services, plus vehicle inspection services provided

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Samsung Card announced on the 30th that it has launched the 'Samsung iD AUTO Card,' which offers customized benefits for drivers.

The Samsung iD AUTO Card provides fuel discounts for drivers. In addition, it offers discounts on parking lots, Hi-Pass, and designated driver services, along with vehicle maintenance services. It also provides benefits in various everyday areas such as discount stores, delivery apps, and coffee shops. A key feature of the Samsung iD AUTO Card is that fuel, apartment management fees, and discounted sales are included in the previous month's spending, making it easier to meet the spending requirements to receive fuel benefits.

First, it offers discounts of up to 90 KRW per liter at all gas stations. If the previous month's spending is 500,000 KRW or more, a discount of up to 70 KRW per liter is provided at all gas stations, and if the previous month's spending is 1,000,000 KRW or more, a discount of up to 90 KRW per liter is available.

Additionally, it provides a 10% discount on parking lots, Hi-Pass, and designated driver services, up to a maximum of 5,000 KRW per month. Furthermore, Samsung iD AUTO Card holders can receive a 20,000 KRW on-site discount twice a year when exchanging engine oil at Speedmate, and can receive free vehicle safety inspections, tire puncture repairs, and tire rotation services once a year.

The Samsung iD AUTO Card also offers benefits in everyday areas. It provides a 0.5% discount at all domestic and international merchants regardless of the previous month's spending, and a 1.5% discount at discount stores, online shopping malls, convenience stores, delivery apps, and coffee shops.

The discount store benefits apply to purchases at E-Mart, E-Mart Traders, Lotte Mart, and Homeplus, while online shopping mall discounts apply to purchases at Coupang, TMON, WeMakePrice, and Samsung Card Shopping. Additionally, a 1.5% discount is available at convenience stores, delivery apps, and coffee shops. The 1.5% discount is provided up to a maximum of 1,000,000 KRW per month when the previous month's spending is 500,000 KRW or more.

Moreover, customers can receive a 5,000 KRW discount once a month when purchasing movie tickets worth 12,000 KRW or more at CGV, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox.

The annual fee for the Samsung iD AUTO Card is 49,000 KRW for both domestic-only and international (Visa) versions. A Samsung Card representative stated, "We have launched the Samsung iD AUTO Card, which offers a variety of benefits from fuel discounts to everyday perks," adding, "We will continue to provide useful benefits and services to our customers."
