"Customer Convenience and Eco-Friendliness Combined" McDonald's Opens 'Jeju Island Nam DT Branch'

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] McDonald's announced on the 30th that it has opened the Jeju Donam DT branch, which incorporates customer convenience services and eco-friendly elements.

Located in Donam-dong, Jeju City, the Jeju Donam DT branch is a new store consisting of two floors and is the first Jeju store to introduce the "Tandem Drive-Thru," a drive-thru platform that allows two vehicles to use the McDrive simultaneously. This provides a faster and more comfortable McDrive service, while also adding a waiting vehicle space for convenience. The waiting vehicle space is an area where customers can wait briefly after placing their McDrive order until their menu is prepared, and they can receive their menu directly from store staff at this location.

Additionally, on the first floor inside the store, gender-segregated restrooms for disabled customers have been installed to facilitate smooth use by disabled customers, reflecting efforts to provide convenience to all visiting customers.

Eco-friendly elements incorporated from the design stage can also be found inside and outside the store. The interior uses eco-friendly certified paint and finishing materials, and the building exterior is clad with aluminum wood panels that are infinitely recyclable. Around the building, safety railings made from eco-friendly composite wood containing coffee grounds, a byproduct of McCaf? coffee extraction, have been installed.
