On the 29th, Lee stated on his Facebook, "I have never received, purchased, or worn President Park Geun-hye's watch, and therefore I could not have given it to anyone."

On the same day, a media outlet reported through an interview with lawyer Kim So-yeon, who met with CEO Kim, that Kim had received the 'President Park Geun-hye watch' from Lee after the sexual bribery incident. Lee also shared the article containing this information on his Facebook.

Lee emphasized, "I have not seen President Park Geun-hye since the 2012 election," and added, "President Park herself and everyone who served her knows this."

He continued, "If it is a presidential watch, it should have a serial number, so let's verify to whom the watch was given, who gave it to me, and when, to confirm who actually received it."
