Jeongeup-si Produces and Distributes 2,000 Copies of the Latest Edition of Administrative Guide

[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk is producing and distributing the latest edition of the administrative map containing the current appearance and various information of the Jeongeup area.

On the 29th, the city announced that it has produced 2,000 copies of a 1:50,000 scale administrative map, supplementing and revising the administrative map created in 2019 to reflect the city's dynamic development.

To create the administrative map, the city collected opinions from experts, various departments, and eup, myeon, and dong offices, reflecting changes in administrative districts, place names, roads, and more.

Afterwards, the administrative map was finalized through reviews by the National Geographic Information Institute and the Spatial Information Industry Association.

The front side of the administrative map includes a complete map of Jeongeup City, showing contour lines, administrative district names, boundaries, major tourist attractions, rivers, parks, and more.

The back side features an enlarged city map focusing on the main dong areas (urban area) centered around City Hall, along with phone numbers of major facilities in Jeongeup City and the Jeongeup 9 Scenic Views, enhancing the map's usability.

The newly produced administrative maps can be obtained free of charge by visiting eup and myeon offices, dong community centers, or the Information and Communication Department of City Hall.

Additionally, anyone can easily download the administrative map by accessing the City Hall website.

A city official stated, “The administrative map was produced to satisfy citizens' right to know and to enhance the promotional effect of the region. We will continue to do our best to provide better administrative services to citizens.”
