[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Haitai Confectionery announced on the 29th that it has launched 'Guun Saewoo' (Grilled Shrimp), which is baked with hot air for a more savory and nutty flavor.

Guun Saewoo is a shrimp snack that captures the umami taste of fresh shrimp best enjoyed grilled with salt. It is baked with high-temperature hot air to perfectly bring out the salty and savory flavor of salt-grilled shrimp. Guun Saewoo replicates the freshly grilled shrimp taste through Haitai's unique hot air roasting technology. Unlike frying in oil, it features a clean taste without greasiness.

The shrimp content is also very high at 9%, among seafood snacks sold on the market. Fresh domestic shrimp with firm flesh is ground whole and mixed in, while the exterior is sprinkled with grilled shrimp powder. In addition to the rich shrimp flavor, it preserves the texture of eating salt-grilled shrimp. Soft corn mixed with rice flour provides a crispy texture as if actually eating grilled shrimp.
