The 8th Minseon Ulsan Mayor Transition Committee Reports on Public Enterprises and Affiliated Institutions' Administrative Issues Ulsan City Hall.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Ulsan Mayor's Transition Committee for the 8th term of the elected mayor (Chairman An Hyo-dae) has begun receiving work reports from Ulsan public enterprises and affiliated institutions.


On the morning of the 27th at 10 a.m., a briefing on current issues was held with 12 transition committee members in attendance.


The public enterprises and affiliated institutions reported in the following order: ▲Ulsan Facilities Corporation ▲Ulsan Urban Corporation ▲Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency ▲Ulsan Credit Guarantee Foundation ▲Ulsan Technopark ▲Ulsan Information Industry Promotion Agency ▲Ulsan Job Foundation.


Chairman An Hyo-dae emphasized, "The population increase in Ulsan is directly linked to jobs, and good jobs are created by companies," adding, "We need to lift the greenbelt restrictions to create industrial and residential complexes to establish conditions where people can settle in Ulsan."


He also pointed out that changing the name of the leased facilities at the Comprehensive Sports Complex is causing confusion among citizens and urged that public facility names be maintained and managed from the citizens' perspective.


The transition committee members presented various opinions, including ▲realistic compensation pricing for loss compensation ▲establishing age-specific support directions for youth entrepreneur (CEO) development projects ▲assessing the performance of job support projects ▲thorough safety management of outdoor water play areas during summer ▲and linking projects among affiliated institutions.


On the 28th, the 16th day since the launch of the transition committee, the second work report from affiliated institutions such as Ulsan Cultural Foundation, Ulsan Tourism Foundation, Ulsan Women and Family Development Institute, Ulsan Social Service Institute, Ulsan Research Institute, and Ulsan Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Agency is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
