BPA official SNS channel supporters 1st generation 'Biparang' members are taking a group commemorative photo after the launch ceremony.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) held the inauguration ceremony for the first generation of BPA official SNS channel supporters, ‘Biparang’, on the 27th.
‘Biparang’ means ‘BPA + ~rang (together, love)’, symbolizing ‘supporters who are always with Busan Port Authority and love Busan Port’.
The BPA SNS supporters were launched to promote BPA’s major policies and issues from the public’s perspective, secure an image of BPA seen through fresh viewpoints of the people, and form a broad understanding group about Busan Port.
The name ‘Biparang’ was chosen through a naming contest directly participated in by the people of the Republic of Korea, and supporters were selected from applicants aged 20 and over in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions to form the supporter group.
The purpose of the SNS supporters’ activities is to quickly reflect rapidly changing trends in BPA SNS content and increase public interest in Busan Port and BPA.
After the inauguration ceremony, the ‘Biparang’ supporters will be active for three months in two fields: ‘photography and articles’ and ‘videos’ to promote BPA.
Kang Jun-seok, President of BPA, said, “The main task of this Biparang activity is to quickly and familiarly convey BPA’s image seen through Biparang’s fresh perspectives via SNS,” and added, “We will continuously strive to recruit Biparang members by field, reflect rapidly changing trends in SNS content, and increase public interest.”
