Busan Tourism, We Take Responsibility... Four Organizations Including Dongseo University Hold Launch Ceremony for the 7th Busan Tourism Supporters Nubinubi After the launch ceremony of the 'Busan Tourism Supporters Nubinubi 7th Generation,' officials and supporters are taking a group commemorative photo.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] To enhance the tourism competitiveness of Busan, an international tourism city, the industry, academia, and government sectors of Busan are joining forces once again.

On the 22nd, four organizations?Dongseo University, Busan Transportation Corporation, Busan Tourism Organization, and the Busan·Ulsan branch of the Korea Tourism Organization?gathered at Dongseo University Centum Campus for the 'Busan Tourism Supporters Nubinubi 7th Launch Ceremony.'

The Nubinubi Busan Tourism Supporters consist of 7 teams with 25 members, who were selected through a public audition held on the 9th.

The supporters will travel around Busan until November to discover new tourism content, promote it on SNS, and take the lead in improving attitudes toward embracing local culture.

In the 'Nubinubi 7th,' a problem-solving approach addressing current issues in Busan tourism will be introduced, with joint projects carried out by each participating organization.

The Busan Tourism Organization was assigned the task of promoting ESG experience programs; the Korea Tourism Organization was tasked with promoting tourism content for Busan and Ulsan to revitalize the region and assessing readiness; and the Busan Transportation Corporation was given the task of promoting tourist sites linked to the urban railway.

Accordingly, the 7th members will visit tourist sites to carefully inspect the environment and then promote the tourism appeal through SNS to fulfill their tasks.

Along with promotion, they will propose alternatives to expand Busan's tourism demand after COVID-19, aiming to develop it into a world-class tourist destination.

Professor Kim Bong-gi of the Department of Tourism at Dongseo University said, “I am grateful to the related organizations and students who have helped sustain the Nubinubi program steadily despite the adversity of COVID-19,” and added, “I expect the students to contribute to establishing Busan as a world-class tourism city.”
