The 5th edition of Asia's largest blockchain event, "Korea Blockchain Week 2022 (KBW 2022)," will take place across Seoul this August. After being held online for the past two years due to the impact of COVID-19, KBW 2022 will be conducted as an offline event this year.
Blockchain accelerator FactBlock announced on the 23rd that KBW 2022 will be held for a week from August 7 to 14 throughout Seoul, including the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Samseong-dong and Dongdaemun DDP. KBW 2022 is hosted by FactBlock and co-hosted by Hashed, a leading Korean blockchain venture capital (VC). The Asian blockchain accelerating group ROK Capital is participating as a partner.
The main conference of KBW 2022, "KBW 2022: IMPACT," will be held over two days on August 8 and 9 at the Parnas Hotel. The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops by world-class figures on topics such as blockchain technology, virtual asset industry, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), metaverse, and Web 3.0.
Key participants at the conference include △ Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana △ Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands △ Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon △ Kevin Sekniqi, co-founder of Ava Labs (Avalanche) △ Jeffrey Zirlin, co-founder of Sky Mavis (developer of Axie Infinity) △ Alex Svanevik, co-founder of Nansen △ Lee Kyu-chang, head of Com2uS USA △ Kim Min-su, CEO of NFT Bank △ Joo Ki-young, CEO of CryptoQuant, along with about 80 other key figures from the domestic and international blockchain industry.
In addition to the main event, side events will be held including △ Solana-hosted blockchain startup pitching competition "Solana Hacker House" (August 3?7) △ FactBlock VIP Pre-party (August 7) △ Seoul Festa 2022: K-pop Festival (August 10) △ Web 3.0 Dinner (August 11) △ NFT exhibition "NFT Impact" (August 12?14).
Registration is open on the official KBW 2022 website until August 8. Tickets are available in the following order: △ Early Bird (~ June 30) △ General Registration (July 1 ? July 31) △ Last Ticket (August 1 ? August 8). Early Bird registrants can receive up to a 33% discount.
