The awardees of the '2022 Academic Year 1st Semester Learning Program Performance Presentation' are taking a group commemorative photo.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Center for Teaching and Learning Development at Silla University held the ‘2022 First Semester Learning Program Performance Presentation’ on the 21st to share outstanding learning cases.
The performance presentation featured three programs with participation from over 120 enrolled students: ‘Silla Ilta’ for freshmen to adapt to school life and prevent academic maladjustment; ‘1:多 (Da) Learning Community Baekyang Tutoring’ to enhance learning competencies in major subjects; and ‘1:1 Silla Learning Mentoring’ for adapting to school life and improving learning capabilities.
The Center for Teaching and Learning Development selected a total of 14 outstanding teams from each program to motivate students’ academic achievement and share excellent results, holding an awards ceremony to present certificates and scholarships.
Following the awards ceremony, the winners shared their impressions of participating in the learning programs throughout the semester and presented outstanding cases, encouraging one another.
Lee Seo-yeon, a physical therapy major and recipient of the Excellence Award in the Silla Ilta program, said, “As a freshman, I applied for the program to adapt academically, and by communicating with peers and seniors and participating in various activities, I was able to continue enjoying university life.” She added, “I plan to participate in various learning programs in the second semester as well and actively engage with many students.”
Lee Kyung-soon, director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Development, said, “It was a meaningful time to successfully conclude the semester with the students through the performance presentation.” She added, “We will strive to provide substantial programs so that many students can strengthen their learning competencies in the second semester with a demand-tailored curriculum.”
