Sahmyook University Hosts 2022 National High School Students Art and Design Practical Competition

Eligibility for Samyuk University Early Admission Special Talent Screening Granted to Grand Prize, Gold Prize, and Silver Prize Winners

[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] The Department of Art and Design at Samyook University announced on the 22nd that it is holding the "2022 Samyook University National High School Art and Design Practical Competition" until the 23rd at the university gymnasium, Art and Design Hall, and Design Hall practice rooms.

Now in its 16th year, this competition was established to discover and nurture creative talents and to enhance the nation's prestige through the promotion of design and art culture.

The competition categories are ▲Basic Design ▲Change of Thinking ▲Idea and Expression ▲Basic Literacy, focusing on practical skills for college entrance exams. A total of 1,001 participants are registered this year.

The grand prize winner will receive a certificate, a trophy, and a scholarship according to Samyook University's admission regulations. Gold, silver, and bronze prize winners in each category will receive certificates and prizes, while honorable mention and finalist winners will receive certificates. Outstanding instructors and academies that have nurtured excellent students will be awarded the Outstanding Leader Award.

Additionally, grand prize, gold, and silver winners will be granted eligibility to apply for the special talent admission track at Samyook University for the 2023 academic year. Works by winners of bronze prizes or higher will be exhibited in an exhibition, and a certificate confirming exhibition experience will be provided. Winners of honorable mention or higher can receive certificates of award achievements when applying to other universities.
